global opportunities

God's plan for mankind is made clear in His Word from Genesis through Revelation, that everyone - all nations, all peoples - know Him and worship Him.

As Christ-followers, we participate in God's plan or mission. How each of us does this depends on our God-given gifts, abilities and passions. Some of us will be inspired to go and serve, and some of us to send and support. Both going and sending are necessary (see Romans 10:13-15). Support can include both prayer and financial.

Each missionary below that SPC supports has a prayer guide in which you can help support them in prayer.

short-term missions trips

Through our short term mission trips we hope to reach and serve others and help them walk courageously with Jesus Christ, and we also hope the participants' relationship with God grows stronger and deeper (Philiemon 1:6). Periodically, teams from the church visit a country and do short term work. There are different kinds of teams: construction; medical; drama; and evangelistic. If you have an interest in being part of a short missions trip, contact our SPC Missions Directors. You may also visit the IPHC World Missions Website for a list of upcoming trips @ http://wmm.iphc.org/teams.html.

become a missionary

We encourage everyone at SPC to seek God's will and to join Him where He is at work. If you feel God calling you to serve as a missionary abroad, whether for a short-term or as a career, there are multiple opportunites that fit almost every person. You can find out more by visiting the IPHC World Ministries Website at http://wmm.iphc.org/become-missionary/index.html. Also talk to any one of our SPC pastors and Local Missions Directors and they will be glad to talk with you more about what God maybe putting into your heart.

sending/supporting missionaries

In Acts 1:8, through Jesus' instruction to the disciples, God provides clear instruction as to where we are to continue His mission: in our own community, in other regions, and to the 'ends of the earth'. At SPC we are continually seeking God for connections, relationships, and mission opportunities wherever He might direct.

You can become involved in supporting:
  • A missionary financially on a monthly commitment basis
  • A missionary through prayer on a regular basis
  • Global Evangelization by giving to the annual Global Outreach Offering (GO)
Below check out each of the missionaries we are currently supporting, and use the prayer guide to support them in prayer. To become a financial supporter of a particular missionary simply follow the instructions given.
